.. i moj malo emotivni prevod na engleski, nadam se da necete zamjeriti, ne znam sta bih, voljela bih da mogu daleko vise, ali eto
ako ista valja, a i ako ne ..sta cu
Once upon a time, there was a city called Mostar, with People's Theater, Youth Theater, Puppet Theater, a Symphonic Orchestra, a choir called Mostarske Kishe, and KUD Abrashevic ( KUD stands for "culturally unique dudes":-)). That was a city of love. Nobel Prize winning authors couldn't help but write about it. In that city, there was a great, championship worthy soccer team as well as handball, basketball team and swimming club, all in that small city! There had been light like you couldn’t imagine, it had been a city of poets, of culture and sports, of Olympic Champions, supreme actors, singers…in short, it had been a city of people who could make the whole world a better place by simply representing their hometown: Mostar!
During the civil war in the ‘90’s and its tragic so-called ‘urbicide’, the Old Bridge, one of the historic trademarks of Mostar, had been destroyed, only to be built again….Now, as we read these words, the city’s People’s Theater is being destroyed, for whatever reason... There is no reason valid enough. The city’s movie theatres haven’t been rebuilt since the ‘civil’ war, and now this too?! “Culturecide”, in this century, now? Please, let’s not let it happen, not now, not again, not ever, not to anyone, anywhere.. starting right here, right now, in Mostar! Let’s all make a difference this time!

vrlo lijepo Aida...hvala na podrsci...engleski nije moja bolja strana, ali sam pokusao u prvom momentu napisati, da bar imamo osnovu...raja samo naprijed...pozdrav Nisi i Tozi...
